Translate Cartier’s Singapore concept to a premium spot at the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.
Concept:
The original idea was to translate Singapore’s Cartier concept to Amsterdam. But Singapore had 3 times as much room to play with. We couldn’t just make a concept fit for 96m2 fit in 36m2. So we created a new store. With the same recognisable elements ofcourse. We create a complex half round counter which told the four stories of Cartier items. Complex, because of the round curves and the different gradients. The end result was chique and premium, which obscured the complex, handmade labour that went in to it.
Fun fact:
The Bijenkorf warehouse is a giant open space but we managed to create an intimate and personal vibe with our pop-ups.
