Concept
In line with Barbie’s mission to close the “dreamgap” regarding inclusivity and diversity, we created a concept that highlights the doll’s central theme: you can be anything! A collection of different Barbies turned into a display of possibilities in our windows; wheelchair Barbies, male & female Barbies, Barbies of various backgrounds, Barbies with different jobs, etc. This display of Barbies on display hit home: the inclusive and inspirational spirit of Barbie resonated with the world on the other side of the window. Catching peoples eyes, one person at a time.
Fun fact
The display became a permanent selfie backdrop for people passing by – there was always someone doing something with their phone in front of our windows.
